Hi all! 

Welcome to Day 15 of the 30 Day Disney Blogging Challenge. We are halfway through! I’m enjoying it so much. 

Today I am sharing my favourite Disney song of all time. I think a lot of people would agree with me too. This classic has become so popular on social media, memes and in a lot of BuzzFeed articles. I love it for my own personal reasons, which I’ll explain down below.

I am of course talking about:

I already outlined the plot in one of my previous posts – April 5th-Who Is My Favourite Disney Heroine? – so I won’t rehash it all over again. When Mulan enters the training camp disguised as a man, she knows nothing of combat and fighting. Through this epic song, we see her transform from weak to strong. She proves to captain, Li Shang and all her comrades, that she’s a force to be reckoned with!

I honestly cannot think of a Disney song I love more than this one. It might sound strange but when I was battling with severe anxiety, I’ll Make A Man Out Of You, helped me through. It inspired me to keep pushing, no matter how deep the fear ran. It gave me courage to face the day and overcome my mental illness. When I listen to it now, I feel very emotional. I owe a lot of gratitude to this song. I also enjoy working out to it, as it’s an obvious motivator. It isn’t just catchy, it’s inspirational. You can interpret it however you wish, but ultimately, it’s a power song that can instantly lift one’s spirits and fill them with determination. That’s how I see it anyway.
