The Breath of the Wild Readathon – Round #2.5: The Great Plateau – My Wrap-Up!

Hi all!

Earlier this month, I posted my TBR for The Breath of the Wild Readathon (Round 2.5) The Great Plateau. You can check that out here. It ran from May 15th – May 24th. Today I am sharing my wrap-up. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

P.S: I have been loving Tears of the Kingdom! Thank you to my sister and brother-in-law for gifting it to me on my birthday!

MY WRAP-UP

*Shrine of Resurrection (Camera Trial): Share your readathon TBR list: COMPLETED

I shared it on my TBR post here

*Owa Daim Shrine (Stasis Trial): Participate in a reading sprint: COMPLETED

I completed my own sprint during that week.

*Oman Au Shrine, Magnesis Trial: Read a sequel: COMPLETED

I am obsessed with Sandhya Menon. You can check out my ranking her works here. I loved this unique take on the classic Frog Prince tale. It went in a pleasantly surprising direction, making it far less predictable than I initially thought. It was full of heart and growth. A feel-good story that will make you smile.

I gave it 4.5/5 stars.

Total Pages Read: 311

*Ja Baij Shrine, Bomb Trial: Select a challenge from any previous round (Southern Mine: Read a book that you recently acquired) – COMPLETED

I am a huge Beth O’ Leary fan. Check out my ranking of her works here. The concept was fun and different to anything I’ve read before. It was such a quirky, sweet rom-com that had me swooning. I also finished the television adaptation on Paramount+.

I gave it 5/5 stars.

Total Pages Read: 391

*Keh Namut Shrine, Cryonis Trial: ‘FLY’ buzzword – read a book with fly (or any related word) in the title/on the book cover – COMPLETED

This horror novella triggered me for two reasons: 1.) It featured creepy-crawlies – my biggest phobia and 2.) It was about a parent trying to protect their child. As a mother, it hit a little too close to home. Having said that, it was really well written, effective in scares and perfectly paced.

I gave it 4/5 stars.

Total Pages Read: 61

Total Pages Read for Readathon: 763

I hope you enjoyed this readathon. Thanks for reading!

Peace & Love xoxo
