Hi all! 

As mentioned in my first review, I have a tradition with my child, where we test out a different kids’ advent calendar each year. This month, we unboxed one dedicated to Slime! I found it on Amazon for a very reasonable price. You can purchase a similar one here. There are 24 products in total, leading up to Christmas Day. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

REVIEWING THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX

There were 10 different coloured tubs of slime in total. The remaining 14 days, featured various toppings and sprinkles to decorate them. They are meant to resemble pretend cupcakes and ice-creams. I recommend – if you want to know what goes where – using the images on Amazon as a reference. Nothing is in order, so my daughter and I didn’t know what we were doing, until we looked online. Having said that, a lot of the toppings on the website were not in our box. It really is a mixed bag (literally), as to what you might get. 

The quality of the slime itself varied. Some tubs had a good consistency, others were so wet the dye stained our hands the moment we touched them. I didn’t expect much given the price point, but I do wish they had all been created equally. 

MY OVERALL THOUGHTS 

My daughter absolutely loved this advent calendar. She knew a circle flap meant a tub of slime and a square flap meant a topping. This made it a fun guessing game for her. She liked to bet on what colour she would get and chose to arrange her tubs exactly as they were presented online. Abigail was overjoyed by this box, and that’s what matters. I recommend it for a young child, aged between 6-8.
