Hi all!
Welcome to my November Favourites! It was a very busy and memorable month. My husband & I spent the first half loving it up in Langkawi for our honeymoon. It was incredible. I’m excited to share the best of the best with you all, so let’s get started!
THE BEST OF NOVEMBER:
1.) Phone Game – Monument Valley

I recently upgraded my phone, losing all of my games and apps in the process. I picked one really good game and I’m so glad it was Monument Valley. Less than $3, this game is stunningly beautiful and story rich. You play as Princess Ida, leading her through puzzles and worlds of optical illusions. You need to manipulate your surroundings in order to proceed to the next level, which makes it that much more intriguing and enjoyable to navigate. I would highly recommend checking this game out. It even has an ethereal, calming soundtrack that soothes its players as they traverse the geometric realms.
2.) Song – I Love You Always Forever by Betty Who (Viceroy Remix)
I loved this song as a child, so I was delighted to hear it had been remade years later by the fabulous Betty Who! I love the Viceroy Remix because every time I hear it, it reminds me of Langkawi. It makes me think of the ocean waves kissing my toes, holding hands with Francis and feeling the tropical wind blowing through my hair. Tell me this song doesn’t make you want to lie in a field somewhere and daydream? Betty Who in general has been my favourite artist this month. Check out ‘Dreaming About You’ and ‘High Society’ for two other incredibly catchy tracks!
3.) Clothing – Baby Blue Boho Dress from Sportsgirl

I find Sportsgirl to be quite expensive, so I rarely shop there. However, last year I found this gorgeous blue boho dress in the $15 sales rack. I love the sleeves and pale sky colour. I brought it with me to Langkawi and it got lots of wear! My closet is only filled with pieces I truly love and cherish, so this gorgeous item definitely deserves a place there. What’s your ideal summer dress?
4.) Jewellery Piece – Glass Flower Pendant from The Crafts Complex in Langkawi

One hot afternoon in Langkawi, Francis and I visited the Crafts Complex to watch glass blowing and various other products being made. The necklace above caught my eye and I fell in love. I love layering it with other longer necklaces, as the cord is quite short. It will always remind me of a beautiful time and place in my life.
5.) Etsy Store ‘Dreamy Moons’ by Annie Tarasova
I love Annie! She’s an adorable vegan influencer & artist from South Australia. Annie not only has a passion for animal welfare, she’s also deeply spiritual, sketching the most amazing cosmic prints on her Etsy store: ‘Dreamy Moons.’ I recently purchased her A3 Crystal Poster to support her talent and decorate our room. Check out her store for incredible colours and beautiful gifts. Christmas is coming up!
6.) Fruit – Jackfruit

I cannot tell you how long I have wanted to try fresh jackfruit. I’ve heard so many people say it tastes just like bubblegum but no matter how hard I searched, I couldn’t find any. Finally, in Langkawi, our lovely tour guide found some for me at the night market and judging by the picture above, it’s obvious how excited I was. I’ll never forget the moment I popped the juicy golden seed in my mouth, discovering the bubblegum theory to be true! Even though it will be hard pressed to get more, it is without a doubt my favourite fruit. Jackfruit is actually banned from hotels due to its sticky flesh. I can see why. It’s messy to eat but so worth it!
7.) Audio Book – I Am The Messenger by Markus Zusak
What I loved most about this book was how unexpectedly intriguing it was. If you’ve read The Book Thief (like me), you will be amazed by the stark contrast and writing style. I Am The Messenger takes place in Australia, following the life of self-confessed mediocre ‘bloke’, Ed Kennedy. The story opens with Ed stopping a bank robbery – becoming a hero in his local town. Following that event, Ed finds a playing card in the mail, with three different home addresses and varying times of the day scrawled on the back. What he discovers at these locations changes his life forever. If you’re interested in this book, I recommend listening to the audio version, as the narrator really brings the story to life with his humorous voice and timing. You will find yourself laughing and crying all at the same time.
8.) Memory – Best Moment of November 2016

Our magical honeymoon in Langkawi was without a doubt, the best moment of November. This particular day, we hiked up to the Seven Wells Waterfall and swam in the cool, fresh stream below. It was one of those moments you know you’ll never forget. I’m so lucky I get to travel the world with my best friend and husband!
Thank you so much for reading my November favourites. What were you loving this month? Could you relate to my list? Next month is Christmas. I cannot believe it! I will no doubt fall in love with many more things by the end of the year. Stay tuned and don’t forget to love yourself!
Peace & Love xoxo
