Hi all! 

Today I wish to share all the wonderful details about my beautiful baby shower, that took place Sunday, May 20th. Before I begin, I want to say a HUGE thank you to my amazing sister and mum for organising everything. They both went above and beyond. Also, a big thank you to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law, for bringing the drinks. I am so very lucky to have such an incredible family. I also wish to thank everybody who came and made the day so special. Your presence and presents (ha!) were very much appreciated. Our little girl is already super spoiled! 

The theme of my shower was pink and grey. This 100% vegan/cruelty-free cake was orange and poppy-seed flavoured. It was delicious and the design, simply adorable. It was made by a lady who works with my mum. The rest of the food was all vegan/vegetarian. 

My sister did such an amazing job decorating the place. There was so much love and care in every detail. 

We played two really fun games! 1.) You had to match the celebrity baby with his/her parents and 2.) You had to guess the circumference of my belly, by cutting off a piece of pink yarn. The closest in length won. The prizes were lovely smelling vegan soaps. 

This was such a great idea. All of my guests wrote such lovely messages for our daughter to read when she turns 18. 

My sister’s partner (who is a graphic designer) designed these cards to be filled with parental wisdom from all of our family and friends. This is going to be so useful for first-time parents like us. 

My sister ordered these baby shower favours from Mahina. They are 100% vegan, soy wax candles in the scent sweet-pea and jasmine. How cute are the little giraffes on top? 

I had such a wonderful day, filled with special women who will be a big part of our baby’s life. I am so grateful and cannot wait to meet our little girl in just 2-5 weeks time!
