Hi all!
As mentioned in last week’s post (click here), I have a few product reviews to catch up on. Today I’m back with another one, plus a fresh discussion topic! This is a Social Soup review. If you want to learn more about SS, check it out here. Without further ado, let’s get into it!
This is my favourite Social Soup review, because it is very up my alley. I have never been a fan of drinking water. I know it doesn’t really have a taste but for me, it’s bland and dull. As a teenager, I loved fruit-infused water or adding lemon, to give it some flavour. Twinings have recently released a line called In’fuse, which are fruit-flavoured bags, that you pop into your water bottle to add more zing! They have heaps of different flavours to try, but my personal favourite is the Peach & Passionfruit. You can check out the entire range here. The best part is the bags are entirely caffeine free, vegan and natural, with no artificial colours or flavours. You simply add one to your cold water (must be cold), wait 2-5 minutes, shake and enjoy. I love the taste and found since using them, I’ve been staying hydrated for longer. It’s a great product to try if you struggle to drink a lot of water during the day. I highly recommend giving them a try. The canisters hold up to 12 bags and in my opinion, they are super affordable, at only $2.75 AUD. They are available at all major supermarkets in Australia.

Let’s move onto the discussion topic. What do I personally think about sponsorship’s and brand deals? I never get paid to do any of these product reviews. I am simply sent these things for free, then encouraged to share them with my followers. I do not make any money off them. I want to make that clear. However, if I was offered a sponsorship or brand deal in the future, I would take it, provided what I was advertising meant a lot to me and was ethical. I would never support something that wasn’t vegan or immoral. I would never share an item, if I didn’t fully believe in it. A couple of months ago, a company wanted me to test nappy rash ointment. After some research, I learnt it contained beeswax and lanolin – both of which are not vegan. I did not review it, nor test it.
I know a lot of people don’t like when influencers upload sponsored posts/videos. They feel like the person is selling out. This can be true if they promote unethical or dodgy products. For example, I would never follow a person that promotes detox teas. They are incredibly harmful; sending a bad message to influential followers that want to lose weight in an unhealthy way. If a social media personality promotes something helpful however, I’m all for it. This is how they make money. These sponsorships help them continue creating content and living out their dreams. My husband said that people don’t mind when their favourite sports teams wear their sponsors on their uniforms, but get up in arms when a celebrity promotes a company. It is essentially the same thing. Sponsorship’s and brand deals help keep these sports stars playing and content creators, creating! I think you can tell a lot about a person from what they promote. Thanks to some sponsorships, I’ve purchased items really cheap, thanks to the discount codes provided. There are a lot of positives!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Have you tried the product mentioned? What do you think about the discussion topic? Let me know down below.
Thanks for reading!
Peace & Love xoxo
I am not being paid or sponsored for this post/products – all my thoughts/opinions are my own.
