Hi all!
March is a very special month because it’s my blog anniversary! I have been on this platform for 8 wonderful years, and I don’t see myself slowing down anytime soon. Today I am going to share my 10 most popular posts, since the inception of this website. I think you’ll be surprised by what made the list. I know I was. You just never know what is going to appeal to a mass audience. Without further ado, let’s get into it!
1.) Why Eugenia Cooney Does Not Know She Is Dying…
No. Views: 44,125
Sadly, my highest rated post over the last eight years is titled: Why Eugenia Cooney Does Not Know She Is Dying. If you weren’t aware, Eugenia is a social-media influencer, who also happens to be anorexic. I was so tired of everybody sending her death threats, completely ignoring the fact she is battling a very real disease. I decided to explain in writing why she couldn’t just ‘eat a burger.’ I didn’t realise it would blow up the way it did. In fact, I began receiving hate comments as well! I think it became popular because when you Google ‘is Eugenia dead’, my post is one of the first that comes up. People are checking to see if she has passed away yet. It’s awful and so heart-breaking. I wrote this article several years ago and she is still dangerously thin. I wish her all the best but based on how things are going, I don’t see her beating it before it beats her.
2.) How I Tab/Annotate My Books!
No. Views: 10,881
In second place – with a big drop in views from the first post – we have: How I Tab/Annotate My Books!
To be perfectly honest, I only tabbed/annotated the book in the aforementioned article. I never did it again, with any other book. I had intended to, but life got in the way, and I just forgot. However, if I ever decide to give it another go, I will continue using the method in the above post. It’s fun and makes perfect sense to me. Let me know if you tab/annotate too!
3.) A Comprehensive Guide To Watching RuPaul’s Drag Race!
No. Views: 6,133
Update – This post has since been deleted due to the expansion of the Drag Race universe. It’s just too outdated.
In third place, we have: A Comprehensive Guide To Watching RuPaul’s Drag Race! I love that a topic I’m passionate about, did so well. Since publishing this post, many more international franchises and spin-offs have aired.
4.) The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag!
No. Views: 5,000
I am not surprised The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag received so many views. It’s a very popular fandom. I had so much fun writing it and I know a lot of other bloggers have too. I’m fairly confident my answers haven’t changed.
5.) The 5 Best Vegan Products From ALDI!
No. Views: 3,672
I’m really happy The 5 Best Vegan Products From ALDI did so well. It was a fun, random post viewers genuinely enjoyed. I will say, the products I mentioned are most likely no longer in stock. I love a good taste-test!
6.) I Read & Ranked All Of Darcy Coates Books!
No. Views: 3,357
Every single person that has viewed I Read & Ranked All Of Darcy Coates Books has excellent taste. In fact, Darcy herself was thrilled when I posted it. She was happy someone had taken the time to rank her entire works.
7.) Ranking The Life Is Strange Franchise!
No. Views: 3,149
Out of all the posts mentioned, this one was the most surprising. I never thought Ranking The Life Is Strange Franchise would do well. It’s a video-game series, so I didn’t think many people would care. It turns out, they do!
8.) Vegan Maple Joys!
No. Views: 3,091
I have published many vegan recipes in my time, but none have been as well-received as the Vegan Maple Joys. They are simple and easy to make, yet so popular on my website. I haven’t made them in a hot minute.
9.) The 50 Bookish Questions Book Tag!
No. Views: 2,831
In second last place, we have: The 50 Bookish Questions Book Tag. These types of posts always tend to do well, as other bloggers like to replicate them on their own websites. My answers have definitely changed since publishing it.
10.) Ranking Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter Universe!
No. Views: 2,037
Last, but certainly not least, we have: Ranking Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter Universe. This is a post I knew would do well. She’s an extremely popular author, with a lot of ground to cover in her bibliography. I’m glad it got the recognition it deserved.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting me over the years! I appreciate each and every one of you.
Peace & Love xoxo
