LUSH Advent Calendar Review!

Hi all!

Today I am reviewing/sharing everything I received in my 12 Days of ChristmasLUSH Advent Calendar! I have wanted one for the longest time, so when my husband asked what I wanted for Xmas this year, it was a no brainer! LUSH always provides products of the highest quality. I knew it wouldn’t let me down. Having said that, it was quite expensive. However, it was worth every cent. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

Day 1 – ‘Yog Nog’ Shower Gel

Not only were the products in the advent calendar high quality, they also came in decent sizes. This 120g bottle of shower gel was an instant favourite. I have been using it every single morning. ‘Yog Nog’ smells divine and pours out like liquid, glittery gold. A great start!

Day 2 – ‘Frosty the Snowman’ Bath Bomb

My favourite gifts to receive are bath bombs. I use them all the time. My ideal way to unwind is to take a bath after my daughter goes to bed and read. ‘Frosty the Snowman’ actually dissolves into an icy blue hue. It’s like you’re bathing in a glacier!

Day 3 – ‘The Magic of Christmas’ Bubble Bar

The main difference between a bubble bar and a bath bomb is in the usage. You can break up a bubble bar, making it last longer. A bath bomb can only be used once. I love putting the former under a running tap – watching the bubbles build up in the tub. ‘The Magic of Christmas’ has hints of cinnamon leaf, ginger oil and grapefruit oil. It screams Yuletide

Day 4 – ‘Christmas Pudding’ Soap

One of my absolute favourite products was the ‘Christmas Pudding’ soap. I was surprised because I never use bars of soap. I typically prefer liquid body wash. The quality and scent are unmatched. It’s so gentle on the skin and doesn’t dry it out. I could not recommend it enough!

Day 5 – ‘Candy Cane’ Bubble Bar

The ‘Candy Cane’ bubble bar is the only product I allowed my daughter to use. We broke it up into pieces, giving her several uses out of it. When it had finally dissolved into tiny red segments, she used them to draw on the bathroom tiles. I can confirm it washed off very easily. It’s a great gift for a child.

Day 6 – ‘Penguin’ Bath Bomb

The picture below doesn’t do this bath bomb justice. It’s the largest product I received in the advent calendar. ‘Penguin’ dissolves into purple liquid and smells AMAZING. Containing bergamot oil and orange flower, it’s perfect for ones mental wellbeing and clarity.

Day 7 – ‘Star of Wonder’ Bath Bomb

The ‘Star of Wonder’ bath bomb is truly a wonder to behold! Each point of the star contains a different colour. When you put it in the bath, it produces a plethora of rainbow hues. It’s the most beautiful product in this box. I would absolutely purchase it again.

Day 8 – ‘Laughing Santa’ Shower Jelly

The ‘Laughing Santa’ shower jelly was my least favourite product. It’s cute to look at but quite impractical to use. It’s SO slippery, making it near impossible to grasp. Furthermore, when I pulled a section off, it resembled a floppy piece of raw meat. The smell wasn’t really to my taste either. In a box full of wins, it’s okay to have one miss.

Day 9 – ‘Sleepy Bear’ Shower Gel

Similar to ‘Yog Nog’ (see above), the ‘Sleepy Bear’ shower gel comes in a 120g bottle and pours out as glittery purple liquid. It’s very luxurious. Smelling of lavender, it’s to be used right before bed (as the name suggests), to ensure a restful sleep.

Day 10 – ‘Magical Santa’ Bath Bomb

The ‘Magical Santa’ bath bomb gives off sunset hues when put underwater. It is filled with pinks, oranges and yellow. You can purchase it separately, or with a golden sleigh.

Day 11 – ‘Sweet Pudding’ Bath Bomb

This advent calendar really spoils the buyer with bath bombs. The ‘Sweet Pudding’ actually contains cornstarch to make the skin soft and smooth. It is also covered in icing sugar to create a silky texture. As one would assume, it dissolves into pink hues.

Day 12 – ‘Merry Kissmas’ Lip Scrub

Last, but not least, we ended on a very high note. The ‘Merry Kissmas’ lip scrub is so delicious, I had to restrain myself from constantly applying it. It’s divine!

Thank you so much for reading! Let me know what you thought.

Happy Holidays xoxo
