Hi all!

Today I am reviewing horror movie: The Jester. A malevolent being known as The Jester terrorises the inhabitants of a small town on Halloween night, including two estranged sisters, who must come together to find a way to defeat the evil entity. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

WHAT WORKED:

Not much! The Jester was a cool concept for a supernatural horror villain. However, Art the Clown and The Fool from Tarot, did it better! He just felt like a cheap knock-off of the both of them.

WHAT DIDN’T WORK:

This film was downright woeful. I do not recommend it in the slightest. Please don’t waste your time. The acting was so bad, the dialogue was terrible and the main characters, insufferable. It would’ve worked much better as a short. I was so bored. I don’t mind a low-budget horror. In fact, some of them are quite good but The Jester suffered from a lack of direction or point of view. It was all over the place, with hardly any pay-off.

OVERALL STAR RATING:

I gave it 0.5/5 stars. I got half a star for the look of The Jester. I liked his bright orange suit. That is all!
